Greenmount replace 6 ARP units at BMW for use with demineralised water

BMW Group, Plant Oxford have recently installed 6 new air supply fans supplied by Greenmount Fans. The ‘Mini’ plant at Oxford is one of the most efficient car plants in Europe. Greenmount were chosen due to their technical knowledge in this type of Double Inlet, Double Width fanset. The Demineralised water process is particularly corrosive and BMW required a fan that would cope with this arduous environment.
At the same time Greenmount have also ‘HALAR’ coated a booth exhaust fan impeller. This coating should enable the fan impeller to be cleaned more quickly and easily reducing factory downtime.
